Picked up my trailer yesterday!. Yeaaaaa! for me

I gave them (Rentz Trailers in Holiday, Fl) a call yesterday morning and the guy told me it had been ready for a week already. Because he doesn't let anyone do any pricing for him, they never did the right paperwork for my trailer so he didnt have my number to call me...

Either way I went to pick it up I am real happy with the new axle wheels and tires... I have a one pic at the moment... I'll put more up in a bit of close up.

Now I just have to figure out what to do with the old axle, wheels and tires... The tires are civilian and near dry rotted anyway...

So my next plan for this trailer is to have it completely bead blasted and have the under carriage and bed linexed... Ill do the sides of it the same as I did my truck... I'm thinking Khaki for the Under carriage and Sand color for the bed.

Kept the dampener brackets and shocks they were supposed to change out the u bolts. But didnt... Im not gonna bitch about it right now though... I will ask where the break away switch is though.. I realized that today.

Re did wiring to truck and added new hooks, I'm wanting to weigh it now to see where it is... First weigh was 1069 lbs prior to all of this. I also added a break controller for the brakes even though I know I don't really need it.. But Better control in my mind.

Did they have to grind off the shock mounts or were they just held on by the U- Bolts?

They used a plasma cutter...

That was a question I had in reference to the old axle though. The plasma cutter cut into the old axle as well, so I guess that makes that pretty useless now doesn't it?
