M101a2 Hub Diameter

Hi guys,

I recently won an M101a2 on GL. While waiting on my EUC to clear I was developing some materials list for the trailer. I am considering adding some "bearing buddies" to the trailer. Does anyone know the interior diameter of the hub? I have poured through the TM but haven't been able to find anything. Thanks.

Dexter maked the axel for most of these trailers. 8 bolt hubs have a 2.715 inch bearing cap. So your bearing buddy should be made for that size axel. I believe these trailers have a 5000 or 6000 lb axel. Very heavy duty for a 3/4 ton trailer.
