M105 question

There are two square holes on each side of an M105 bed (above and slightly outside the wheel wells), as well as two in the front headboard. What are these holes for? Thanks in advance...

The side holes are to stow the rear tailgate rack when not in use. not sure about the front unless it is for mounting the front rack.

Me wantsta know too... ACE... I know the brackets for the front and rear racks on the lower sides, but those little square holes have always baffled me.. peek a boo..
