m1078a1 air compressor help

Got the truck from the auction. It had a ticking noise that would come and go. While I was trying to figure out where is it coming from, it made it rather obvious by blowing a hole in the air compressor manifold. See pictures. The cylinder walls seem to be ok, the cylinder itself took the beating. Surprisingly, the compressor was building air just fine, until it evacuated the valve.

What's the best place to source a replacement compressor/manifold?

There's already a thread going about that compressor issue and others. They eat exhaust valves at a furious rate:

That's the head that you have a hole in. And that compressor is toast. You need a replacement entire assembly with head. If you get a used one be sure to rebuild the head before install.
