M109 from Barstow CA to Fort Worth TX

I'm doing some research and was wondering if anyone had a ball park price for having an M109 transported from Barstow CA to Fort Worth, Texas in the next 2 weeks? It would have to be picked up at Barstow and would be dropped off at Meacham Airport in Fort Worth.

This isn't a done deal, but depending on shipping costs, could be, so I'm trying to figure out what the cost would be. As long as it's picked up in the next two weeks, It could be delivered at your convenience, within a month or so.

I think it would have to go on a double drop trailer, so I think it would be a lot. I would think more then the truck will cost.

A friend of mine got a quote of $2.00 a mile for a heavy move back in November. With fuel at $4.26 per gallon here in CA trucking cost have gone trough the roof. Good luck, John
