This is my first tread I have done.
About my Deuce its a 1956 M133 yes M133 not a M135 I bought it 2 years ago with a stuck in low range trany with a slipping 3rd gear.
I spent a year to rebuild the transmission and put a manual valve body (REB kit) in it. When the engine was out I shaved the head .100 to rase the compression to 8 to 1 ,valve grind heavier Valve springs too . I change the cam out to get a few more RPM also and adjusted the governor to 4000rpm
So this is what I did removed the oil bath set up cut the level bar in the bottom pan , made a fitting out of a 3/8 pipe nipple to screw in to the bottom of the top casting cut a 10" piece of 5/16 all-thread .
I use a K&N RU-3260 filter and cut off the 6" rubber flange so it will fit flush to the upper casting and put a hole in the rubber cap for the all-thread to go threw
