hi everyone, im new to this so if i dont have the right terminology please forgive me. my m220 had no brakes (i.e the pedal went right to the floor), so i checked the master cylinder and it was dry, put fluid in it and now the pedal is spungy, but now the brakes seem to be locked. im trying to get it to my shop about 1/2 a mile away and if i cant get the brakes to work i atleast need the truck to roll so i can have it towed therr. any suggestions on what to do?

Read up on the TM !!!! you might be able to adjust down the brake shoes to allow the truck to roll. Hard to tell whats really wrong with out looking at it. Could be stuck master, booster bad lines ect..

I agree with reading the TM. These trucks have air over hydraulic and have extra parts as a result. I would start with lifting each axle off the ground and see if wheels spin. Then if not you can back off the shoes like normal drum brakes. Also since the master cylinder was dry, there is now air in the system. With these trucks there are rubber lines that can swell internally and look normal from the outside. The mc and the airpack all need to be looked at for the system to work properly.

Since you want to tow it to the shop, I would simply look at each axle and determine which set of wheels are locked up. You might have to pull the tire/rim and look inside the drum and deal accordingly.
