This ones doing my head in !
i've got an A1 truck and decided to fit an A2 transfer box.
Straight forward swop, got everything connected and took it for a test run. Up into 4th and a vibration started and got worse as I went faster. So back to the w/shop and checked everything was mated up properly and running free, it was. So I put it down to a bearing in the new transfer box. So I take out the box and strip it down, nothing, everything looks fine. Now i'm really baffled. :?

The only differance is the new transfer box and that looks fine. Nothing vibrated before, so it must be the new box, but what.

If anyone has any ideas, what could cause this, I would be most greatful.

Yeah , the uj's are fine, the vibe only started when the new box went in.

zak, when you say drive shaft out of phase, do you mean, the prop shaft might have gone back 180 degrees the other way. Not back to front
