M35 Frame Numbers

Hello,
My M35 has this numbers on frame, near front axle: 68 86L A 4 17
With this number i verify what the year of fabrication or the exact model(M35a1/M35a2 etc)
In the titles the year is 1952, but the ex-owner told me this truck is 1968... which is correct?
Who made this truck? Kaiser? Reo? Studebaker?

Thanks for the help

If those #'s were to the rear of the axle those are the frame half part numbers. The SN is in the front of the axle in one line.
