Okay, I have searched and read several posts about the multiple M35 turbo options. I am starting a new thread based on the Turbo I acquired a while back to install on my truck.
Here is the history on my truck. It started out as a M35A2 and it has been bobbed using the XM381 Data Sheet. From purchase it was equipped with the LDS-465 Engine and a "D" Turbo. I've never had an issue with power and have never turned the fuel up on the truck and according to my Isspro Boost/Pyro Gauge combination I can spool 10-15 lbs of boost.
I know that power and torque are based on how much fuel you ad to the diesel engine along with the combination of the size of you turbo to supply the air to the engine as well. I am not "power hungry" and looking for a 500 H.P. LDS engine which I know is not achievable. My question is based on will this turbo make more power or be more efficient on my LDS engine since I believe it was the turbo combination that was supposed to accompany my LDS-465 engine.
With all that in mind here are the pictures and Data Plate information on the turbo I acquired a while back. I do have all the parts to install it on my engine such as the correct intake air horn, gaskets, connecting tubes, clamps, and exhaust adapter to make it work on my truck as well. Please let me know your thoughts.
