Hi I have a m35a2 and would like to make it safe to 6' of water. I'm new to this of course intake needs to be that height but unsure of air compressor intake and blowby hose ect. And help or instructions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Just plumb the air compressor intake to the air filter housing. There should be positive pressure at the blow by tube(slobber tube), so I wouldn't worry about it.

There is a connection on the air compressor intake for a snorkel. I believe its 1"NPT.

Also, the original fording kit adds a valve to pressurize the flywheel housing with air to prevent water from getting to the clutch and the main seals.

I don't know the particulars beyond that.

I wouldn't worry about putting pressure to the bellhousing. I ran with my inspection plate removed for about 3 yrs and it never bothered anything.

I would start with removing all differential and transfer case and transmission vents and running hoses to each one with the end line in the engine compartment. Then I would install a pressure regulator set at 2psi to pressurize all those lines. With this done there will be no water entering any of those units.

JIm, is that tube coming out of the side panel for the slobber tube? You don't leave it hooked up do you? Does it collect and back up with fluid?

Yes, it's for the slobber tube. I had it disconnected and hanging right next to it so you can just crawl under it and hook it up before fording. FYI: the side panel is supposed to be open, I cut the hole because I thought it looked better that way.
