M35A3 front shock - monroe PN?

I know this is an old thread but it looks like the most appropriate one to post this question.
After reading all the info on SS I ordered a set of Monroe 66903's for my A2. After receiving them I noticed they are thinner, (2") than the original shocks which have an upper diameter of 2-3/8". They don't look nearly as beefy as the original shock.
Just wanted to make sure I actually got the currently correct shock.

Any input is appreciated :)

I put those on my A2 last December and they are fine so far. It really smoothed out the ride, but the originals were completely shot. It also took care of the tire cupping mostly. It looks like it might still be doing it a tiny bit, but nothing like it was.

Hey guys just wondering what shocks I should use.
I've got 14.5/20 singles on my A2 and some one said that
Heavyer wheels on a3 was why they used different shOcks
On the A3 's
Any suggestions would be great
