I am looking for a replacement data plate, however, everyone one I can find does not match up to what I am told is the original. Most data plates weigh less. Can anyone tell me this data plate is? Who was the manufacture, etc… Much appreciated.
If you do a lot of Googling, you might be able to find factory original data plate images with similar dates of delivery, that will have the mfgr on it. I think the mfgr is Stevens for that year but I could be wrong. Nice trailer btw.

Thanks, I have googled to death, I figure it’s a Steven’s. Yes I bought it off a guy who restored it. He said the plate was original, but I suspect it was a restore of a restore. Needless to say, I love it, mechanically sound, a few war wounds, but for this era, can’t complain. I have to get a homemade title in MD, so I figure I will just stamp the new vin into a plate. I would like to have an original however, trying to keep in pure.
