Thinking about a Mk16 fifth wheel trailer for my Mk48 - the question is has anyone here loaded the trailer by itself on a lowboy trailer? winch it on the trailer?

I had a MK17. I just ended up having the local wrecker company hoist it onto their trailer. A snatch block might work though on a lowboy.

If you cage the brakes you could load it with a fork lift if it would push it up the ramps of the trailer. I loaded some out of Albany for some fellow members and IMHO the best way to do it is with a rotator wrecker. It will cost you some bucks but might save a lot of damage and wringing of hands and gnashing of teeth.
