M816 Army Tank Museum Australia

Here is a couple of photos of our 816 working around the museum, it originally came from the Woomera rocket range in central Australia.

We are not going to restore her as we have a M543A2 that was used by our Cav units and is more in keeping with the tank museum.

I have done some interesting jobs with her from lift towing a blown up Tipan to moving 2 1/2 ton anchor around.

The more i am around bit green trucks, the more I appreciate the simplicity and utility of them. With just a little TLC, they will run practically forever.
