After harvest I plan on extending the frame, taking off the pusher axle and putting a steerable tag on the back.

The shop is my Dad's dream shop, he tells me quite often that he wished he had the shop and tools 50yrs ago but he is getting good use out of it now.

Looks good!

are the 16's on the pusher axle just for looks or are they needed?
Im putting a 22 foot box on for this year and the center will be over the rear axles (if the box is full the rear will be carrying all the load) so the air tag will not really be useful. According to the tm, the tandem is rated 58000, the wheels are rated 13000 and the tires are rated 14000 so it should handle the weight. It wont be legal for the road but will just be used for bringing corn/soybeans out of the field to the bin site. When I have time after harvest Im planning on streching the frame and putting a steerable tag axle 10ft behind the tandem so I can take some weight off the tandem and split it between the front axle and the back tag axle. Im going to get my wheelbase as long as is legal so I can carry the most legally. The truck is 26000 lbs just cab and chassis (probably more with the new wheels, Ill try to weight it today)so I need to make it max wheelbase/length so I can haul to town if need be.

22 foot box gets close to 700 bu. I plan on putting on a 26ft box and steerable air tag after harvest and should be able to haul 1000 bu.

You are really going to like that truck. I know a guy up your way hauling 1200 on M911 chassis with 22' box that is 10' wide!
