Thanks for any help on this baffling issue:
I have a AM General M925 with the NHC250. I starts and runs fine. All is good when you put it in the forward gears and drives and shifts just fine. Any attempt to put it into reverse, bucks and stalls the engine. If you place the transfer case into neutral, forward and reverse work just perfect. Working the transfer from neutral to high range, sometimes you can get reverse to work smoothly for about five feet then the bucking and stall quickly occurs. I took apart the handle and button on the transfer case lever as some mentioned the button sticks and that did not fix it. TM's don't cover this exact issue and I have sort of run out of ideas at this point.
Any input or previous experience with this issue would be appreciated!
Thank you.
