M931 5 Ton headlights turning off when brakes are pushed

I have a M931 A1 5 ton 6x6. Every time the foot brakes are pushed, the headlights go out and the light switch makes a 'click' sound. When brakes are released, the lights come back on within a few seconds and the switch clicks one time again. Any suggestions on what's causing this problem and how to fix it.

Sounds like there's a ground fault on the brake light circuit. That's causing the light breaker to trip.
