Hi,

Does any one knows a trick how to remove the filter from the power steering reservoir without disassembling the entire engine including fuel pump please.

Because of the center rod (6) in the cup filter gets stuck at throttle lever on fuel pump. And I cant think of a tool that can spin a almost a 1" bolt part of the valve (8} in a cup which the rod (6) is attached to.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Stud should be threaded on the bottom side from the looks of the pic. Put two nuts on the top of the thread and tighten them together and spin the bottom nut to take the stud out as it pressures against the upper nut.
