I purchased a MEP003a 10k generator and it ran fine until I pulled the emergency stop. Yes, the emergency stop does indeed work. However, now the unit cranks but will not start/run. Planning to soon pull injector pump (IP) and clean/blow out. Anyone have tips on the IP clean process or is there more to the emergency stop reset? Any suggestions will be appreciated. With winter coming getting a little here in central Ohio. Thanx

Do you mean 3KW generator, or do you have an mep-003a 10kw generator?

If you mean the DC circuit breaker(on the control panel), yes, push it back in , to reset it.

Yes the Emergency Shut Off on the control panel. I pushed it back in and unit failed to start. Must now check on fuel shut off solenoid from ESO to see if its operating. Previous thread indicated it occasionally sticks once activated.

Don't make more work for yourself than you have to. If pulling the stop breaker was the last thing you did before it failed to start, then look for a problem with the stop breaker. If it checks out with a meter, then move on.

Bingo.

The place you touched is the place to start looking.

Makes sense to me. Getting around now to head to where the generator lives and throw meter on pull stop. Just downloaded the manual. Will let all know how she runs. This happened in March and I forgot about it until Superstorm Sandy hit us. Thanx
