Yes sir, @TomTime is correct and you need them. Be sure to download the TM's (Technical Manuals) here. Those books will explain how they are used and why you need them - especially the TM 5-6115-465-10-HR. The "dash ten" is kinda like the "operators manual".

You created your own thread, so picture us with some of your new-to-you generator and post them as well. That will be a good place to post any questions you might have. Be sure to at least thumb through the -10 book so we can talk "apples to apples".

I hate to tell you this, but the gen set in the background is not a MEP-005A. Maybe a MEP-805A?

Not to mention that an 005 and 805 are 30Kw not 15Kw....
