MEP-531A TQG: AC versus DC Voltmeter
Photo by Lance Cpl. Kevan Dunlop
Dear Editor,
I work with CECOM as a Power and Environmental Systems LAR. I need to alert power generation system maintainers of a parts mix-up in the 2kW MEP-531A tactical quiet generator’s (TQG) TM 9-6115-673-13&P (Jun 10).
Item 2 of Fig 21 shows an AC voltmeter. However, the FED LOG characteristics show this item as a DC voltmeter.
Units are ordering NSN 6625-01-467-7577 as shown in the TM, expecting an AC voltmeter, but receiving a DC voltmeter instead. If units need the AC voltmeter for the 2kW MEP-531A TQG, they can order it using NSN 6625-01-467-7571.
