MEP-803a shaped gasket seal

I'm replacing the shaped gasket seals under the top cover on the control panel end. After a bit of research I found "Frost King SS20BR" smoke seal. It is a self-adhesive silicone material that comes in a roll. It is used to seal the gaps in smokers, so it can handle the heat. When I look at the original stuff (top) and the new stuff (bottom) next to one another it looks like they came out of the same mold. I believe the same stuff is used for the door gaskets.
