mep 804 b no power after start switch is released

replaced voltage regulator kept blowing 3amp fu2 fuse . installed flight sys regulator aftermarket . dont know if regulator will work with this unit . i check power at f and j on diagnostic connector over 9 volts to f1 and f2 circiut while start switch is in crank position. 200 volts 60 hz until crank switch released . no power ,and undervoltage fault light . i wired original transformer primary supply to new regulator. new regulator is capeable of an output up to 90 volts dc @5 amp when running with start switch in crank i have over 9 volts dc . old transformer and secondaries disconnected
