mep002a bellhousing size

I have one of the rebuilt Onan 9hp diesel engines for the MEP002a genset. I am looking to buy a 5-6kw generator head on ebay and build a generator. Has anyone done this? One outfit needs to know bellhousing size and some other measurements. Yeah...I know I need to get another manual printed out and research it. But...experience does seem to work well...if anybody has actually done it.

Shame your so far out, I have an 002 gen head.

I hate to say it but do a search....it's in a thread here somewhere, I just can't remember where at this point in time. The MEP-003a and -002a are the same SAE size bellhousing. IIRC I wanna say it was an SAE 4???? The flywheel bolt pattern isn't a standard that I know of, but that's not as big of a deal as the bellhousing is
