Unimog

I was somewhat familiar with the stills of some of the railroad operations of the Unimogs in Germany, and the NYCTA has on in NYC set up to rescue subway trains, but the 406/408 pulling a dozer on a trailer ought to quiet some folks down as to what a Unimog can't do.... Thanks for the Videos!

Yeah, I know! How friggin cool was that thing!

A buddy of mine picked up one of the NYC Port Authority Subway car pulling mogs a few years back. He pulled the rail gear off and replaced the wheels with the wider stance 'typical' disc brake wheels. Truck didn't even need to be repainted. Oh, and his didn't have the 90* rotator on it either. Thought that was cool too!

The dozer on that huge wagon was neat. I found a couple Unimog AG vids I may post up too.
