Military Vehicle Collectors of Colorado Hold 77th D-Day Anniversary Gathering

One of the MVCC members provided his ranch for a great backdrop and space for a gathering of club member’s mostly WWII vehicles for a D-Day anniversary gathering. We had a great variety of vehicles show up for the display including a 1943 quad 50 halftrack and a completely equipped and priceless 1942 GMC K53 weather station. Talking about priceless and a true museum piece that served in WWI, our member with his 1918 Nash Quad brought the beast out for display and a little trail riding. We had a few post WWII vehicles show up also. Fun had by all. Enjoy the pics. Some cool trail ride videos will follow.

Trail ride with the Jeep’s, half track and Nash Quad

Half track attacks the ditch

Nash Quad runs out of power at 6800’ and doesn’t make it out of the ditch. It was able to back out on its own.
