Missing trans. plug??

New to me! 1st M35A2!!

Bought from another member here Locally!!

while checking things out on my "new to me" deuce,
I noticed a small oil drip!
! Please disregard!
I had a brain fart. got this all sorted out..

i was told that "options" it has are:
Engine: LDT465-D 6CYL MULTI-FUEL non- whistler
Hard top
Troop seats
Heavy/thick vinyl cargo cover (desert tan)

Upgraded heavy duty electric wipers
Like new heavy vinyl bed cover
super heavy duty ramps for driving vehicle in the bed
Cold Weather Manifold heater

still 24 volt system

also came with:
Stock tool kit
pioneer tools (bad condition)

$1.87 in loose change (fuel money?)

The oil drip is eather comming from the trans input shaft or the rear main.
This plug is covered in the -10, from your question I think you might need to read it, it has all sorts of neet info.

Missing a plug here?

Was crawling under the deuce today and noticed this threaded hole. Am I missing a plug here? WHOOPS, NEVERMIND. Found the answer in a 4-year-old thread with almost the same title. The answer is no. Sorry.

Help! Is this bad? (Pic included)

I'm in the process of changing oil in my deuce for the first time and noticed this in my transmission. I'm assuming a 1/2" plug goes here? I'm also assuming there is no oil in there :( . Also, can anyone tell or show me in pictures where to drain the engine oil (there are multiple plugs) and...

flywheel housing bolt missing?

well i took the deuce to surfside this weekend and when i woke up this morning back in houston i went looking for leaks or anything of the sort. well i found a hole where a screw or cap used to be. anyone know what the purpose is? also im getting a slight drip a little further down the tranny...

What's missing here ?

When I crawled under my new Deuce for a grease and lube job, I noticed a plug was missing. See arrow in picture. Interestingly, the threads look good. Any guesses on how the bolt came loose ? What's the missing piece called ? I want to be sure I order the correct item. Jeff

Am I missing something on the transmission

It looks like I have a drain plug missing, which means I drove it some after it fell out. Here is the picture, if this is supposed to be that way let me know, or will I have find a new plug?

Missing Plugs? Is that bad?

BOTH the Deuces that I have are missing the same plug on the transmission. Is it supposed to be missing? Or will I screw something up by driving them with the plug gone? Also....one deuce has a cylinder on the bar behind the front axle & the other doesn't.....what is that for? Thanks in advance!

The hole is to allow any oil to drain from the bell housing. If allowed to build up, it would coat the clutch disk and make it slip. if you look at your bell housing you will see another plug screwed in to it on the right. This plug is in it's stored location. Remove and screw the plug into the drain hole when you are going to put your truck in deep water.

Iowa National Guard truck...COOL. The electric wipers are a very nice upgrade. The 2 trucks on the flatbed in my avatar are IANG trucks too. I had bought 3 from that auction . Still have the green one and had sold the 2 tan ones. They were all great trucks. Wouldn't surprise me if yours came from that auction too. The pic is at the loading dock at Ft. Dodge.

I will say this AGAIN- "I have no -10", nor did I even know of this site BEFORE the purchase. It was an impulse buy so i did not research much. ( I NOW have a -10 thanks to the online sources here!!) thanks!!
