The Military Vehicles Collectors of Colorado supported the Central Hockey League's Colorado Eagles tributes to Veterans 11-11-08. They had most of their season ticket holders donate their tickets for this game to local vets AND their families free of charge. All 4500 seats had the green t-shirts in the one picture draped over the seat and then worn by the entire crowd. The team wore camo jerseys also which was pretty cool. The club provided a handful of vehicles for display out the the Bud Event Center near Ft Collins, CO. Eagles beat Tulsa 7-3. Drove the M818 in the picture 200 miles round trip on a conservative estimate of 25 gallons. Pulling the M105 at a constant 48-50 MPH it got somewhere near 8 MPG which I was very happy with.
