If you have already tried all the movements in the shift lever and still nothing I would then get under neath and start looking at linkages looing all all the contact points for rust or zero lubrication. I would then have someone in the cab moving the shift lever again looing for any binding in any of the linkages. If that fails then I would pull the top off the transmission and have a look inside and check the top out good while you have it off again looking for binding, zero lubrication broken pieces etc.
