Here's my 1009 i got in october. I guess that the one a few days ago prompted me to post this now.

I think you can open the picture up and then resave it as a JPEG.

Lots of photo editors will allow you to convert bitmap images to .jpg without turning all grainy and weird. Email it to me and I'll see if I can convert it for you.

If you are on Windows you can go to Start-> Programs-> Accesories and open Paint. Click file -> open , select picture click File -> Save As and choose jpg. Hope this helps
