Probably wrong place for this but I am working on my deuce so here you go.

The tank measures 31x26x16. Came with my deuce and I am hoping to make a dual tank setup with it. I can anyone recognize what it was originally for? Anything special about it....different metal or will it eventually rust through like my other one??

Looks like an M39/809 series tank. If you can source a 939 series tank they are stainless steel.

It is from an 800 series vehicle. It looks like a right tank for a M818. I would have to check, the right tank on the M816 may be the same size. It is too late to go out and measure things. Can check in the morning.

Thank y'all. Well, I reckon as long as it holds fuel it is a decent candidate for a second tank.
