Hello all, let me start by saying it looks like a great site here with tons of useful info! I stumbled across this site a few times but never really looked around much. OK, so a little about myself, Im 19 from Halifax Pa, i do not yet own any military vehicles but hopefully by next fall i will have a deuce There is a surplus store about 5 miles from here, Colemans Military Surplus, they normally stock 2-3 deuces at a time and i use every excuse i can to go up and check out there inventory lol anyway, im looking forward to learning all the ins and outs about these trucks and reading the forum and helping out anyway i can. c-ya around

Hi Tyler! you may not know it yet, but you are an addict! It starts with trips to Colemans, where you look at stuff and plan for a eventual purchase of something OD.

Then you get your first very own OD vehicle.

Then another.

Eventually you are spending lots of time on this forum and the GL auction site.

You are an addict. We know this and will make it all seem very normal. But it is not.

Welcome aboard Tyler....Coleman's is a great place for all kinds of stuff, but it is addictive.

There's trucks coming out of FIG, Chambersburg and Mechanicsburg all the time so keep your eyes open.

There's also plenty going on in the Keystone, Garden & Empire states this summer so watch 'Comming Events' and come on out..

Welcome from S.E. PA. Ive been thru Halifax many times on my way to Line Mt Race track. The Sheets is a gas and food stop for us every time. Of course i have to stop at Saturn and Coleman's. Good luck in your quest for a green truck.

Thanks everyone, and srjeeper thanks for the info, I saw last nite on the government liquidation site there are some trucks from mechanicsburg opening bid in February, but will that site also list the chambersburg & the gap when there available at those locations also?

Yes....On GL's site....Go into 'Locations', then click on 'Pennsylvania' then look for 'Mechanicsburg' (near Carlise on 11), 'Anneville' (Fort Indiantown Gap), and 'Chambersburg' (just off I-81South).

They all move trucks and are nice and close for you, so many you can go preview. The GL folks at these sites are good to work with.

ok, thanks, i was surfing GL and i am now watching multiple items, just to get an idea of what items finally sell for, although one of the items im watching is a 3/4 ton cargo trailer w/canopy i would love to pick up cheap. [FONT=Verdana,Arial,Helvetica][/FONT]
