Hello to all, I am doing research on my fathers service in WW2. He was a truck driver, GMC CCKW open cab. In his unit was a CCKW with a HO-17 housing an SCR-399w/generator trailer. I will be reading all previous posts to answer any question,then I will post if I need further info.This place seems to be a gold mine of info.
And maybe of interest to some ,I am starting a restoration of a 42 Harley WLA motocycle.

Lady4wd, nope, just a very rusty roller with no sheet metal.All the hard parts are there.
Been restoring bikes a while but never a wla. Early stages,research and the like. I'm an anolog guy in a digital world,so....got to figure this puter stuff out as I go
