[Wandering Bison]

Hello,

While I’m not an MV owner, I’m doing some homework around FMTVs as the platform for my next overland build.

I currently live in my self converted Ford Transit while travelling throughout North America (as much as Covid has allowed anyways) and I’m at the point of planning it replacement and be of the options if to build on an FMTV chassis.

I’m really looking forward to learning from this community.

That's a great stage name and Welcome aboard. I had to laugh because I met a welder named "Roman Bison" near Long Lake Ab decades ago and he called his company Wandering Buffalo. My tree spade kept breaking and I kept visiting Roman and his pet Deer.

My elderly Aunt told me to get a van and tour the country before I can't. Your adventure sounds like a dream.

There is a lot of LMTV build threads for these trucks. When the time is right, maybe that will be your next project. Heck, we have guys that have kept their green look and others have dressed their trucks in all kinds of colors. Hope you can gather up some good intel and don't hesitate to poke around and ask questions!
