Hello all, new guy from Southern Maryland checking in. Long time lurker, first post. Picked up my first MV last week and love it already. Needs a lot of little things but a good starter truck I think. 1970 Am General M35a2. Here's a pic because we all love them.00M0M_dVb4Kf5feQa_600x450_zps870c429b.jpg

Hey Weave, welcome to you from here in the Grand Old Commonwealth of Virginia.

I used to drill at Pax River NAS a long time ago, and put some miles in through Leonardtown, up and down Rte 5. Just curious, are you somewhere along there?

Thanks for the welcome guys. Ahab, I'm in Charles County. 5 runs through it but my house is closer to the end of 210/ Indian Head Hwy, about 45 minutes south of Alexandria.

Welcome to the club from the across the Bay!! In case you haven't found them yet, there are tons of links here to Tm's on your truck.
Where did it come from? if you don't mind me asking. Just the snow plow bracket has me curious. Happy motoring!!!:driver:

I picked it up from outside of Lancaster Pa. The plow mount is gone now. The truck has an old Delaware tag on the back, a second Pa tag inside of it that wasn't the PO and has an inspection sticker on the window from VA. It appears to have made it's way around most of the Mid-Atlantic but I plan on holding on to her for awhile.

Thanks BlackNoma. Yes, it is still a crotch rocket race track in nicer weather. Actually, I operate a pace car of sorts for work and get to deal with them allllll the time.

Truck looks great. Is it flat black? Hard to tell by the pic. If you decide to get more of a green addiction, you're lucky as you're close to two of the best GL bases in the Northeast for trucks, genny's etc. in my opinion. I have been to both Ft Mead, MD and New Castle, DE recently for more of the green stuff.

Best of luck, and Welcome!

Yes, it is flat black. I have mixed feelings about it but for now at least it will stay that way. I'm sure there will be more purchases in the future. I tend to go overboard with my vehicle purchases.

Hope to be able to get out to some meets or get togethers soon. Seems like a good bunch of people on here.
