Can the New Post page be made to Refresh after one has been away from it for a while? When I Refresh the page I get a message that says my search could not find any matches?

Click on the new posts button again if you've stepped away. Hitting refresh tells the browser "refresh result seq=1234". Basically when you've been away and you hit refresh, it's trying to refresh a page with a query that has long since expired from the database.

Is the "Today's Posts" in the menu bar, the same as "Today's Posts" in the quick links?

And if so, how is that different than "New Posts"?

Those two would be the same.

New posts however is different from today's post.

New posts takes a look at all the threads you currently have viewed, anything current or newly posted will display there. (New posts also runs a new query after you've been away to gather up the things you've not seen while away) Today's posts does a query to look at all the threads that have been posted in the current day.
