new to the site and excited to get started all help wanted!!!

well im new to the deuce hobby but always wanted one. im in the navy and nothing more american than a deuce. so with that said i have found one but its "as is" not said to be running or not. so my question is how simple are they to work on? is there plenty of parts out there to do a engine rebuild if needed and if so where are they available at?
