Hello all... I am in the process of buying my first MV. It's a 84 M1009.

The vehicle is in ok shape. The plan is to fix her up & drive it!

I picked the vehicle up for a fairly low cost because it currently won't start...I had looked at this exact same rig earlier this year but didn't make a move on it. Someone else bought it & attempted to replace the starter....it hasn't started since. Hopefully I can get the ol' 6.2 whipping again!

I am completely new to CUCV's & relatively new to the 6.2 diesel engines.

I registered here so that I can utilize the search function & gain some knowledge!

Thanks everyone. I have been busy doing my research on this site. It seems that the previous owner of my m1009 has made a number of modifications to the wiring. Lucky me!
