Newbe here:Fuel tank missing on 0003A.Where can i get one?

I just got my MEP 0003A home from GL auction and the fuel tank is missing.It is the model that is mounted on a trailer without sound insulating sheet metal around it.How many gallons did the original tank hold and where can i find one?

The 003a tank is 12 gallons. The ASK kit doesn't make a bit of difference as to the tank, they are all the same. The 002a is 8 gallons. Good luck finding one. There were some NOS ones that sold on GL a little while ago for WAY TOO MUCH money (something in the neighborhood of $140 or more each before fees and taxes). You might find a used one from Delks Army Navy Surplus in N.C., or a member parting one out. Good luck.
