I'm new to the site but have owned military vehicles for more than 30 years. I have a M715 and three 5 ton trucks. I want to change my 10 wheel 5 ton(early 70's flat bed) to single 14.00x20. A friend bought a set for his truck off GL and the lug pattern is larger than the five ton....? I would like to buy a set off of GL but how do I know which set will fit the 5 ton trucks? It appears that some of the wheels I've seen are hub centric wheels that require flange type lug nuts where as the 5 tons are lug centered with tapered lug nuts.......

Your friend probably bought MRAP wheels/tires. I think the HEMMT wheels are the same as the % tons but they have 16.00/20 tires. So I would say you need to stick with 800 or 939 series wheels.

JJ205, you need to check the 14SSGAR (2014, Steel Soldiers, GA. Rally) threads.
