I will be going to a preview inspection tomorrow and have no idea what I need to be looking for. I have spent considerable time scouring the forums, but haven't had much luck. If someone could offer some pointers as to what to check on the trucks that would be great. All of these trucks are listed as "unknown running condition". Historically, what does this mean? Will they usually just start up after a jump, or do I need to plan to have it towed home? Thanks for the help, and I look forward to joining the club!!!

And then look over this list I did for another person on an auction a couple of months ago:
1. Old metal style battery box, batteries present but dead.
2. Old (two prong) slave connector.
3. Has three cargo cover bows, but wood is less than poor.
4. Winch cable is well greased (see pic).
5. Less than 1/2 tank of fuel.
6. Log book put into glove compartment.
7. New (replacement) steering wheel.
8. Tires very good except for one and it's 50%+
9. Oil is full but black, no diesel smell to it, no antifreeze.
10. Had been marked "FMS Hold" (those are generally better).
11. Triangle marker set in toolbox, some other tools also.
12. Antifreeze not visible in filler neck.
13. At worst Class I leaks (wet but not dripping).
