Hey gang,
I just acquired a 1949 CJ3A. It's embarassing how little I know about jeeps. It has the L-head motor in it. It will need some work on the body...okay, a lot of work. The engine runs good. I just need a battery and perhaps to flush the fuel tank. Any ideas how to get the fuel tank out? Also need to make sure the brakes are working. I think eventually, I'll need to replace the wheel cylinders. Seats would be good too. It currently has some old vehicle seats that were rigged in. So, in short, this is a start for me. I am really excited to be getting started. I will certainly post some pics and will be coming to you folks for advice and tech support! Great to be here and thanks!
