Sunday it was 20 out and 1009 fired up like a new truck. This morning it was 40 and no start, called boss ,took vac.day and went back to bed til it got light out.I figured GPs,which are 60Gs and pretty new.Or IP finally let go.I have clear fuel line on my return so I can keep track of air bubbles in fuel system.I also have manual GPs.I checked GPs first, all good, hit with just a touch of ether she fired up but was running very rough.Tons of air bubbles in return line which isn't normal on my truck.Turned truck off left elect.lift pump on,no leaks on lines or IP?Then I thought the only thing I did to truck on Sunday was fuel it up,so either bad fuel or I over tightened fuel cap.I opened fuel cap, whoosh of air rushes in,restart truck no bubbles in fuel return.I wasted a vacation day because of my fuel cap...Im looking for a rebuilt IP,just hope it lasts til I have some time off. This is my only vehicle currently.Do you guys think the restriction on the fuel tank made the IP suck air around throttle shaft seals?
