Nov 11 2018 Traveling Vietnam wall in Apopka Florida - First time

11 Nov. 2018. Static Display 10 am to 4 pm. The Vietnam Traveling Memorial Wall will be in Apopka for the first time ever over the Veteran's Day Weekend at Kit Land Nelson Park located at 35 South Park Ave, Apopka 32703, and sponsored by the Rotary Club of Apopka. The Wall will be available for viewing 24 hrs/day from 6 pm Wed, 11/7 -8 pm Sun., 11/11. In addition to the display of military vehicles will be helicopters, a replica submarine, and an American Flag Honor Walk with over 100 flags. During the static display, the VFW will conduct a service honoring all Veterans at 11 am on Sun., 11/11, and will include a military fly over. The Wall, a 3/5 scale of the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington, DC, stands 6 ft tall at the center and covers over 300 ft, end to end.
