np208 sound

what does your np208 sound like in low range? mine has distinctive hypoid gear whine/noise under acceleation, but only in low range, 4H and 2H are ok. drove it a while in 4 low today and was quite surprised how the trans sounded.

Yes they have that sound in low range its norm!

When you hear that, you know she's fixin to start climbing!!! I'm amazed at what I can to straight up in Low.

It's the planetary gears set that makes the noise u hear. It's fine.

Mine used to make alot of noise.... It didn't have any fluid in it. And the shift fork was machining itself away. After a rebuild and full of fluid its alot quieter.
