The guys at Wright-patt are great. The guys at Columbus could learn alot from them. I'm sure it has to do with different volume of sales, but I still like Dayton better.

I had a good experence in Columbus over the weekend. The front gate guy let me in at 3AM (I do have mil id) and I naped till the GL guys showed up. They took me about 15 minutes early, I was out of there before my 7:30 appointment. i will agree, not the friendliest and the fork lift guy thought it was a nucance to get the items I bought (when asked by the office guy to find the items), but I was in and out of there in 10 minutes.

Gl is what I was talking about. Not the base guard, he isn't an employee for them. I guess getting in and out early is good.

To Government Liquidation:

I would like to share a small observation/suggestion about GL Staff at Columbus. I am not a regular customer at this location so take that into account....

After going over the paperwork and loading the item purchased, I had asked the sales guy if we may preview some trucks that are coming up. His response could not have been more unenthusiastic He made it sound as if we were going on a space mission to Mars. "Ya know this an Army base ya know. I can't just have ya roaming around. Ya will need to be escorted.....blah blah blah" After hearing the tone of his voice I could tell he did not want to show us trucks and even if I persisted, the previewing would be rushed anyway (and we had a long ride home ahead) so I declined and we departed...

Isn't someone in the position of "sales" supposed to sell stuff? If I just bought something doesn't it stand to reason that there is a good chance I may buy something else? Especially after showing interest in other items. It appears to me that there is very little incentive to sell stuff for GovLiquidation. Don't shoo away potential customers.
