What type of oil pressure gauge is supposed to be in the M35A2? or does it matter as long as the sending units match? I want to replace my oil press. gauge, and its a 0-60 psi. The ones I see for sale as NOS are 0-120 psi.

Which one was supposed to be in use?

The sending units must match for it to read correctly. The only gauges I have seen in the 2.5 ton are 60 psi. Don't know when/for what application the 120's are used for.

If you put a 120 lb gauge and sender in the deuce, you wouldn't have a very good definition because I think the normal oil pressure is 60 or less. On a 120 lb gauge, you would only be using 1/2 the scale.

mine's a 120, but it's very erratic. I'll have to check my sender cause it'll show normal pressure and work when idling, but the second I start driving it it pegs to the right and just vibrates
