Could someone please confirm my options for priming an oil pump. I replaced my oil pump and am installing it while the engine is whole and in place. M715 stock Tornado

Just stand it with the shaft up and pour oil in the holes and spin it and pour in some more. Don’t dump it out before you install. Watch oil pressure gauge when you fire up.
