There is not doubt that you should immediately sell it to me. Very nice. I have been thinking about selling the deuce to get a jeep or an M151.

If you look at the 3rd pic, you can see that I have attacked it with the rattle can already. Hopefully it will warm up a bit soon to I can complete its transformation to 24087.

M151 is pretty small under powered and about as useful as a 50cc suzuki quad. If you get too embarrassed driving it, let me know....

Bill
You got that right!!!

This is how it looks now. When I got it it did not have seats, gas tank, the transmission was in pieces in a bucket and it did not run. It was rusted bad underneath. I picked it up by the front bumper and spent a couple days welding flat bar to the rusted out channels. I would like to clean it up some and paint it. It has some rust throughs in the body that are in hard to fix places and I just have not tackled it yet.

Nice score, Jeff.
Your Jeep is officially called a G838. You can go to that web site at:
http://g838.org/portal.php?sid=e4462df65f9824ba455925f8177fd947
Another great site for M151 technical questions is:

http://www.g503.com/forums/viewforum.php?f=14&sid=e33250b5485a187f5a45

If you are looking for parts, go to ebay:
http://search.ebay.com/search//m151...QsaobfmtsZinsifQQsaprchiZQQsaprcloZQQsbrsrtZd
If you are looking to give your Jeep to a poor, broke, Georgia Boy, let me know, and I'll give you my phone number.

Well this one is not much better at one point in time!! Now this this was advertised as "uncut". Now when I had 1st seen it, yep no X welds and no cut down the center. SWEET I thought. So we loaded the thing cause I had exactly 6 hrs to get the trailer back to U-haul and it was almost 6 to get there!! (West Virgina is one big hill!!!!)

When we got fuel before we got on the interstate, I had seen some welds going across the body in the wheel well. Then the next stop, i noticed that all 4 were welded just above the 2 main frame rails. Since getting it home, it looks to me like it was cut completely off leaving just the floorpan, much like a VW bug. I cant imagine why someone would go through such great lengiths to cut it, let alone weld it back together.............lol
Anyways, 2 times I have bought MV's by pics only. Both have been crappy deals. I probably still would have bought this one but not for what I paid for it.
